We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2026, at the age of 74, Michael Gene Blackard in Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Blackard and Nina Blackard (White); and his siblings, Peggy Ann Bruce and Larry Blackard. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Blackard; his children, Lana Yancey (Kevin) of Haubstadt and Cody Blackard (Laura) of Haubstadt; his stepson Colby Fisher (Mary Shafer) of Largo, Florida.; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Austin Yancey, Everly, Brooks Blackard, Thomas Whittington (Celeste) and Kazdyn Fisher; and his brother William Blackard (Joanie) of Evansville.
