She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Hobgood and Zelda Hobgood; and her sisters, Phyllis Mandziara and Marla Gowan. She is survived by: her husband Larry Mitchell; her grandchildren, Katie Shahine (Sam), Jon Mark Genet (Whitney), Ben Genet (Caitlyn), Mason Mitchell (Shelby), Justin M. Genet and Emma Elizabeth Mitchell; and her sibling's children, Angie Hendrix (Ron), Toni Willis (Todd) and Brad Gowen (Angie).
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (12227 State Rte 142, Equality, IL 62934).
