She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Schick and Anna Schick (Schutte); her former husband Joseph Bays; her husband Joseph N. Grassman; her daughters, Carolyn "Susie" Derrington (Bob) and Sondra Davis (Howard); and her sisters, Marie Blessinger, Juanita Schick and Esther Marx.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Carl and Joseph Grassman (Cynthia); and her grandchildren, Lisa Angel, Lori Wathen, Bill Barnett, Gail Sherwood, Matthew Grassman and James Derrington. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
