She is survived by: her parent Sherri McDaniels (Dwight Whitfield); her children, Heather Rozell (Amberlin Boileau) and Skyler Dockery (Whitney); her brother James Rozell (Debbie); her grandchildren, Cole Siddall, Olivia Dunlap, Nolin Dunlap, Emersyn Dockery, Jasper Dockery and Amelia Dockery; and her nephews, James Robert and Mason Lee Rozell. She is also survived by many cousins and relatives.

“Although I grew up in Yankeetown, where Monica lived for many years, I didn't meet her until 2013 at my mother's funeral. She and my brother, Kent Dougan, were together for many years. She lived with him for nearly 10 years; he was with her when she passed. I loved Monica, as did Kent. Monica and I bonded almost instantly and respected each other's strong personalities, and we shared a fierce love for Kent. We will miss her very much. Prayers for her family. Kathy Dougan”
