He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Jones and Helen Jones (Newton); his wife Jerdie Jones; his daughter Lisa Fluty; his grandson Zachary Tieken; and his siblings, Wilburn Jones, Joyce Grounds, Gillie O'Leary and Martha Perryman.

He is survived by: his children, Amy Baggett (Steve) and Tom Jones; his grandchildren, Megan Baggett, Nickolas Jones and Erick Rager; his son-in-law Bill Fluty; his siblings, Mary Murphy and Charles Jones (Donna); and his close friends, Mike Cummings and Brenda Farny. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Honor Flight of Southern Indiana.
