She was predeceased by: her parents, Labe Crowe and Louise M. Crowe; her husband Harold Henry of Cleveland, Ohio; her brother Harold Daniel; her son James Harold; her nephew Gary Daniel; and her niece Rose Marie Coleman.

She is survived by: her grandsons, Jaron James and Brendon Harold Taylor; her daughter-in-law Denise Griffith-Taylor; her nieces, Rhonda Downs and Karen Crowe; her nephew Darryl Donahue (Jean Crowe); and her adoptive daughter Viola Davis (Harold).

In place of flowers, donations can be made to the care of Julia Taborn, Missionary Society of Alexander AME Church of Evansville, IN.
