It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nanetta J. Williams of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nanetta J. "Momma Nan" Williams and Andrew Jackson; her sons, Kennen Eric Jackson and Terrance Patrick Williams; and her brother Donald Shanklin.
She is survived by: her caregiver Vera Williams; her children, Vera Denetria Williams, Karla Michelle Williams, Justin Bradley Williams and Cameron Alexander Williams; her grandchildren, Venetria Williams, Monique Norris and Kameron Alexander Williams; her great grandchildren, K'Drian, Kavion, Khalil Massey, Zaedrick, Jeremiah and Z'Lin Supreme; her siblings-in-law, Vicky Murphy, Mary Williams, Kathy Williams, Joyce Darrett, Gary and Timothy Williams; her sisters, Elizabeth Thomas, Myra Lowery, Juanita Smith, Patty D and Beatrice Jonigan; her daughters, Darlene Marshall-Ware and Valarie Calhoun; and her friends, Judy Burris, Babe Yates and Norris. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greater Hope Christian Church (1228 Lodge Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
