He was predeceased by: his mother Cornelia Lettiequeen Waddell (Gaither); his former wife Virginia (Pressley); his grandsons, Torre and Chris; and his siblings, Maxine, Rose, Walter Jr., Dorothy, Horace, James, Ernest, Harry and Carrie.
He is survived by: his father Walter Browder Waddell; his sister Vada M. Waddell of Hopkinsville, KY; and his children, Katie N. Dunbar, Maggie L. Brown (Patrick), Georgia, Nathaniel H. Waddell Jr. (Sonya) of Evansville, IN, Evie Waddell of Evansville, IN., Amie L. Pointer (Jay), Antonio Waddell (Sara) and Kacheyta McClellan (Latoya). He is also survived by 20 grandkids; 26 great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cleaves Memorial Cme Church (650 Line St, Evansville, IN 47713). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cave Springs Cemetery Cave Springs Cemetery.
