He is survived by: his children, Jill Benvenutti, Steven Adams, Katherine Mabbitt (Clay) and Elizabeth Trotzke (Mike); his grandchildren, Lia Benvenutti, Ava Benvenutti, Jacob Adams, Charles Adams and Libby Mabbitt; his former wife Beverly Gach (Gene); his sister Josette Bonewitz (Mike); and his sibling's children, Krista Lockyear (Steven) and Michael Bonewitz (Heather).
