He is survived by: his sons, Steve Appman (Jamie) and Joe Appman (Lorien); his grandchildren, Austin Appman (Lissa), Luke and Grace Appman; his stepgrandchildren, Hunter McCormick (Sierra) and Shelby Camden (Colton); his great grandchildren, Ansley Appman, Kohen Appman, Hudson McCormick, Weston McCormick and Kynleigh Camden; and the mother of his children Charlene Appman.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
