She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnett Archibald and Esther Woods (Ransford); her husband Leroy Sisson; her sons, Gary Lee Sisson, Michael Wayne Sisson, William Joseph Sisson and Mark Richard Sisson; and her siblings, Doyle Woods, Ronald Woods, Mary Whitehead, Shirley Woods and Virginia Knight.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara J. Gatton (Mike) of Breese, Cheryl Lynn Wilson of Mt. Carmel and Leanna Hunter (Joseph E.) of Newburg, Indiana; her grandchildren, Melissa Engle, Lori Carty-Sherbert, Angela King, James Carty, Shane Hunter, Levi Sisson, Lexis Beard and Tanner Sisson; and her siblings, Donna Evans of Young Harris, Georgia, Linda Rushing of Indianapolis and Gilbert Woods of Mt. Vernon, Indiana.. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Short-Cunningham Funeral Home (527 N Mulberry St, Mt Carmel, IL 62863). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery.
