She was predeceased by : her mother Reba I. Turner (Mason); and her brother James Mason. She is survived by : her children, Monica L. Hopper (Richard), John E. Helfert (Andreanela) and Nicholas-Jon Helfert; her grandchildren, Brayden N. Helfert, Tyler W. Hopper and Brooklyn Lutz Helfert; and her sisters, Peggy Strahl and Lisa Mason Hammers.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Alexander North Chapel (4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN 47710). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers and keepsakes, the family has asked that donations be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses, It Takes A Village No Kill Shelter or Vanderburgh Humane Society.
