He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack O'Brien (Patrick) and Irene Wyand (Hawkins); his brother Tom O'Brien; and his great grandchild Shiloh Dahl. He is survived by: his wife Barbara O'Brien; his daughters, Shana Juncker (James) and Lisa Smith (Brandon); his grandchildren, Alyssa Dahl (Austin), Emily Juncker (Gabe Teruel), Daniel Juncker (Hadley Osterman), Faith Juncker, Nicholas Reiter (Angel) and Rhiannon Reiter; and his great grandchildren, Damian, Drake Reiter, Shepherd and Theodor Dahl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many loving extended family.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (618 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
