He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lax and Elizabeth Lax; and his sister Patsy Lax. He is survived by: his son David Lax; his grandson Andrew Lax; his great grandchild Serenity Whitsell; his close friend Nikki Myers; his brother Charlie Lax; and his stepsister Jackie Roberts. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cemetery (1800 St George Rd, Evansville, IN 47711). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
