With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Sumner of Evansville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 6, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Sumner; her parents, Coria Ruston and Wilford Ruston; and her son Darrell Sumner. She is survived by: her son Larry Sumner; her adoptive son Kevin Langston; her grandchildren, Tyler Sumner (Karissa), Alexis Sumner (Alex) and Kaylee Sumner; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Sumner, James Ball, Lucas Sumner and Grace McDermott.
