He is survived by: his children, Makiya Johnson, Serena Ricketts, Randy Dale Ricketts Jr. and Nia Ricketts; his grandchildren, Serenity Ricketts, Xavier Peek, Zachery Ricketts, Cherish Johnson and Haleigh Ricketts; his great grandchild Finn Ricketts; and his siblings, Malcom "June Bug" Ricketts (Charlotte), Jeff Ricketts (Carol), Kathy Neil (Graham), Janet Ricketts and Lana Williams (Cabell). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
