He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burnett and Bessy Burnett; and his wife June Reutter Burnett. He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Wagner of Evansville and Denice Lasher (Bill) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Jason Lasher, Jeff Lasher, Leeann Butrum, Courtney Giesman and Kensie Waller; his great grandchildren, William Butrum, Elise Butrum, Noah Lasher, Jacob Lasher, Dax Lasher, Hadley Giesman, Baker Giesman, Lincoln Waller, Oliver Waller and Charlotte Waller; and his great great grandchild Walker Fox.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. James West Church, 3101 Hillcrest Terrace, Evansville, IN 47710.
