Richard Lovelace Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 78, Richard Lovelace of Evansville, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Richard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Richard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, H. C. Lovelace and Clara Lovelace; his sister-in-law Rose Ann Mesker; and his brother Don (Herb). He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Sara Lovelace and Mark; his daughter-in-law Malyssa Lovelace; and his granddaughters, Penny and Violet.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pierre Funeral Home (2601 W Franklin St, Evansville, IN 47712).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to AMVETS Post 84 and that you have a Bacardi and Diet Coke in Herb's honor. (If you are feeling fruity, add a maraschino cherry!).
