We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2023, at the age of 87, Richard Mackey Jr. of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Mackey and Mildred Taylor Mackey; his wife Ruby Palmer Mackey; his sons, Jeffery Wayne Hall and Terry Leon Hall of Evansville, Indiana; his siblings, Theoplis Mackey, Douglas McArthur Mackey and Pearl Bates; and his sister-in-law Laura Bell Mackey.
He is survived by: his children, Chester Slaten of Cincinnatti, Ohio and Mary Cody of Cincinnatti; his siblings, John Wayne Mackey of Madisonville, Jessie Burroughs of Cades and Ora Lee Blume of Baltimore, Maryland; and his sister-in-law Viola Mackey of Madisonville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
