With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Reed of Evansville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Reed to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Amel Reed and Edna Reed (Loveless); and his siblings, Patricia Ann Reed, Carol JoAnn Reed, Genevieve Ashworth, Mary Wilkerson, Wayne Reed and Beverly Warren.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deanna Gibbs (Donald) of Newburgh and Janet Durre (Terry) of Evansville; his grandchildren, Jessica Gibbs, Leanna Adams (Brandon), Jacob Durre, Dalton Durre and Megan Durre; and his great grandchild Hatcher Adams.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Stodghill Funeral Home (500 E Park St, Fort Branch, IN 47648). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Clark Cemetery.
