We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2020, at the age of 76, Robert L. Simpkins of Evansville, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Simpkins and Dorothy Simpkins (Krixer). He is survived by: his wife Pamela J. Simpkins (Morris); his daughters, Stacey Hitch (Scott) of Evansville, IN and Kelli Simpkins of Chicago, IL; his siblings, Linda Murphy of Spokane, WA, Julie Horst (Jim) of Bennington, VT, Barbara Angermeier (Paul) of Waukisha, WI and Michael Simpkins of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Tyler Emig and Sydney Emig; and his great grandchild Emersyn Grace.

“Dearest Pam: I am sorry that I did not see the obit earlier in the day. I am so deeply sorry for you and the family. Our memories of the two of you go back many years. I believe the last time I talked with you was at Hardees breakfast. I know that you were a special lady and gave Robert many years of loving happiness. My sweetheart Jim passed last October 2019....at the age of (almost 90)....we loved each other for more than 60 years. please know I am thinking of you. gentle hugs.”
