She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Halter and Catherine Halter (Marsh); her son Joseph "Joe" Alan Bang; and her brother James Halter. She is survived by: her daughter Allison Bang of Evansville, IN; her sister Patricia Gleitz (Bob) of Indianapolis, IN; and her sister-in-law Carol Halter of Vincennes, IN. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
