She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Goebel and Amelia Goebel (Winiger); her husband William Frank "Bill" Rust; and her siblings, Mary, Joan Stolz, Martha McAlpine, Joseph (Betty Kaye), Bernard and Gregory Goebel (Marilyn).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Rust (Melissa) of Frederick, MD, Kevin Rust (Rebecca) of Oxford, MS, Gregory Rust (Carol) of St. Petersburg, FL and Sarah Sheehan (Michael) of Arlington, VA; her grandchildren, Blake Rust (Stephanie Garrity), William Rust (Julie), Shannon Reimers (Trevor), Dan Rust, Alex Rust, Kate Rust, Sam Rust (Emma) and Eli Rust; her great grandchildren, Malcolm Rust, Theo Rust, Noah Reimers, Oliver Rust and Evelyn Rust; and her siblings, Barbara Kent (Wayne), Margaret Buechler, Jeanne Cruce, Isabel Johnson and Tony Goebel (Jean). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Philip Catholic Church, Mater Dei High School, DeMatha Catholic High School or to the Sisters of St Benedict, Ferdinand, IN.
