He is survived by: his daughter Donna Royal; his grandchildren, Adam Royal and Amy Royal; his great grandchildren, Braiden Royal, Dalon Royal, Amaya Royal, Annmariyan Royal and Vivian Royal; and his sisters, Jane and Liz. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
