He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Fieldon and Dorothy Evelyn Briody (McNeal); and his siblings, Thelma A. Williams, June C. Yunker, Maryann Albin, Dorothy M. "Dot" Dockery, Robert F., Jack W. and Kenneth A. "Hoot" Briody.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Claire "Judy" Briody (Overton); his son Douglas Keith Briody (Sandra); his sister Judith R. "Judy" Jourdan; his grandchildren, Robert Cotton Fulkerson (Megan) and Caroline Sublett Briody; his great grandchildren, Flora Pepper Fulkerson and Daisy Grey Fulkerson; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Briody, John W. and Pam Overton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
