With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth M. (Davis) Smith of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on August 28, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Ruth's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Ruth has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosie Davis, and John Davis, Sr.; her husband Randall Stepro; and her siblings, Mary and John Davis, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Smith of Evansville, IN and Brenda Smith of Terre Haute, IN; and her grandchildren, Michael and Nicole. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
