She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank P. Adams and Alice Rowrena Adams (Payne) of Mt. Vernon, Indiana.; her grandmother Ethyl Payne; her husbands, Elmore Jones Sr., Hersity S. Stewart and Laurence E. Thomas of Cario, KY.; and her brother Stephen Adams.
She is survived by: her sister Beverly Adams; her children, Elmore Jones Jr. (Buttons), Minister Ronald P. Jones, Nathan Ray Jones, Terrence E. Jones of Henderson, KY., Deacon Thomas E. Jones (Anita) of Morganfield, KY and Constance Hutcherson of Henderson; and her sister Carolyn Sue Adams Hunt of Indianapolis, IN..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Little Valley Baptist Church (221 E Riverside Dr, Evansville, IN 47713). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. Saundra Jean joined this Church of God in Christ as an Missionary Evangelist and served on the Hospitality board for 23 years until her bout with COVID 19 that made her bed ridden along with Dementia.
She would donate most of her proceeds to fundraising for the church and everyone would buy something from her to support her.
