She was predeceased by: her parents, Adra Armstead and Iola Armstead; her son David "Cricket" Thomas; and her siblings, Glen, Betty, Kimball and Karen Armstead.
She is survived by: her children, Jason "Bus" Thomas and Ashlyne Johnson; her siblings, Larry Armstead (Chiquita), Jane Ellis, Glamor Taylor, Shannon McNary (Robert), Adra Armstead, Tamberly Hassell (Dimitri), Courtney Armstead, Dewayne Armstead (Monique), Gregory Armstead, Darren Armstead, Derrick Armstead and Shelika Armstead; her grandchildren, Jashyona Thomas, Marshawn Sherman, Akya Thomas, Helena Thomas and Har'veion "Barney" Lucas; her great grandchildren, Adore Sherman and Amira White; and her daughter-in-law Lashawna Pullom. She is also survived by cousins and other friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greater Hope Christian Church (1228 Lodge Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
