He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Layne and Dorothy Layne (Stokes); his son Ronedale Steven Layne, Jr. (Melissa); and his sister Charlene Davis. He is survived by: his children, Holly Jenkins (Lee), Kim Carlile (Mike), George Grigsby and Clayton Layne (Stacy); his grandchildren, Christy, Misty, Glenn Jr., Cory, Dustin, Dacota, Braxton, Aaron, Matthew, Heather and Alex; and his sister Debbie "Dale" Harper. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
