He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Pyott and Mary Pyott; and his siblings, Brian Pyott, David Pyott and Brenda Glaser.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Pyott, Randy Pyott, Sherry Dodson, Marsha Pyott and Marilyn Cardarelli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Steve loved and cared for barn cats that were around his home and the family asks that memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
