She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Engel (Pendley) and William H. Engel; her husband Howard Lee Knight; her sisters, Dolores Phelps (Robert, Sr.) and Marilyn Crabtree (Walden, Sr.); and her cousin Rosemary Yabroudy.
She is survived by: her cousin Ann Johnston; and her sibling's children, Steve Crabtree (Maggie), Geoffrey Crabtree (Rebecca), Walden Crabtree (Joanne), Bob Phelps (Nancy), John Phelps (Laura), Joseph Phelps (Cherri), Michael Phelps, Monica Ruessner (Scott), Michelle Crabtree, Moira Crabtree, Mona Speer, Marilyn Felling (Chance), Beatta "Bea" Guth (William Gentry) and Laya Phelps.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the All Saints Parish - St. Anthony (704 N First Ave, Evansville, IN 47710). A Mass will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
