Sylvester Alvey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvester Alvey of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Addison Alvey and Selma Alvey (Schulz); his former wife Carolyn Sue Alvey (Rainey); his son Gregory "Greg" Keith Alvey; and his siblings, Charles Alvey and Jean Sears.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Alvey (Vernon Thompson), Dan Alvey and Bill Alvey; and his grandchildren, Amanda, Joshua, LeeAnna, Jesica, Staci, Justin, Andrew and Anthony. He is also survived by many great grandchildren; and many friends.
