Sylvia M. Winiger Obituary

We bid farewell to Sylvia M. Winiger of Evansville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 8, 2025 at the age of 91. Sylvia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Wagner (Soloman) and Jacob Wagner; her husband Kenneth "Dip" Winiger; her daughter Linda Diefenbach; and her siblings, Viola Hobbs, Ethel Golden, Betty Dhom, Judy Reif, Marion Wagner and Eugene Wagner.

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Robertson (Rick), Becky Cameron (Gary), Lisa Garrison (Greg), Dan Winiger (Mona) and Nick Winiger (Brenda); her son-in-law Kelly Diefenbach; and her siblings, Bob Wagner (Carol Ann) and Ann Drone. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (1600 Glendale Ave, Evansville, IN 47712). An entombment will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
