He is survived by: his son Brian Wharton (Kaylor); his stepson Jason Rainey (Michelle); his grandchildren, Makalia Wharton, Leah Rainey, Caleb Rainey and Eli Rainey; his great grandchild Myorie Evans; his caregiver Christopher Rhew (Haley); his siblings, Carol Haire, Mary File, Dolly George, Christina Basham, Darcy Wharton, Danny Wharton and Curtis Basham; Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
