He was predeceased by : his parents, Fred Meyer and Floraine Meyer (Woods); and his brother-in-law Gene Ashby. He is survived by : his siblings, Ron Meyer (Trudie), Sam Meyer, Jeanie Ashby and Bob Meyer (Pam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Browning Funeral Home (738 E Diamond Ave, Evansville, IN 47711). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720). An entombment was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel (2500 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN 47720).
