He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Burnett and Marion Burnett (Brandis); and his brother-in-law Don Neel. He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Burnett (Neel); his son Neel Burnett (Amanda); his grandson Gray Burnett; his sister Nancy Schwarz (Steve); his niece Katie Haas; and his sister-in-law Cassie Neel. He is also survived by 4 great-nieces; and 1 great nephew.
