He was predeceased by: his parents, George B. Koressel and Susanna Koressel; and his wife Marie Koressel (Niemeier). He is survived by: his children, Richard "Rick" Koressel and Marlene Weinzapfel (Tom); and his granddaughters, Ellen Weinzapfel-McKirahan (Matt) of North Carolina, Leah Schroeder (Zach) and Pamela Weinzapfel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Hospice, All Saints Parish or St. Philip Catholic Church.
