He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred L. Hudson, (Ogden) and Edward L. Hudson, Sr.; and his siblings, Edward Hudson, Jr., Terry Hudson and Sharon Louise Hudson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Hudson (Nellis); his children, Gary Mette (Alicia), Tamara Mette, Clint Denton (Shanna Shelton), Jackie Lynch, Sharon Mhango (Solomon) and Crystal Harris (Jonathan); and his grandchildren, Mya Shelton, Ava Shelton, William Denton, Jax Shelton, Andrew Jones, Madelyn Mhango, Solomon Mhango, Nehemiah Mhango, Dehlu Mhango and Tobias Mhango.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel (800 S Hebron Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery (1400 E Virginia St, Evansville, IN 47711).
