Viola Mae Day Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Mae Day of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell McIntire and Flossie McIntire (Andry); and her siblings, Junior McIntire and Imogene Murphy. She is survived by: her children, Susan Cole and Allen Day (Chery); her grandchildren, Becky DeBaillie (Tim) and Jesse Cole (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Henry and Ruby DeBaillie. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alexander Funeral Home East Chapel (2115 Lincoln Ave, Evansville, IN 47714). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions made be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or to any other preferred charity in her name.
