She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Higgins; and her parents, Otto Ellis and Alice Ellis. She is survived by: her children, Lisa M. McManus of Tampa and Jeffrey A. Higgins of Evansville; her granddaughters, Ashley N. McManus Michael (Josh) of Jacksonville, Abby Higgins Everett (Martin) of Evansville and Grace E. Higgins of Indianapolis; her great grandchildren, William and James Michael; her siblings, Mary Lou Ellis and Philip E. Ellis (Jo) of Evansville; and her children-in-law, Amy Higgins and Paul McManus. She is also survived by several brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
