He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Schmidt (Smith) of Evansville, IN; his children, Donna Black (Gary) of Evansville, IN, Karen Schmidt of Florida and Daniel Schmidt (Melissa) of Newburgh, IN; his siblings, Karen Postleweight (Chuck) of Chandler, IN, Robert Schmidt of Evansville, IN and Russell Schmidt (Pete) of Henderson, KY; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Husk, Colten Schmidt, Logan Black, Cameron Schmidt and Jaden Fairchild.
