Westley Allen Mitchell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Westley Allen Mitchell (Evansville, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Westley Allen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Westley Allen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lenko and Ruth Lenko; and his brother Mike Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Mitchell; his children, Brent, Darice, Danielle, Westley II and Patrick; and his siblings, Kay Arbeiter (Bruce), Ted Mitchell (Angel), Cheryl Najvar (John) and Tom Lenko (late Diane).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bethany Christian Church (601 E Mill Rd, Evansville, IN 47711).
