We announce the death of William Cody II of Evansville, Indiana, born in Tell City, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 49. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his mother Deborah "Debby" Jean Cody; and his grandparents, Wathen and Betty Cody. He is survived by: his daughters, Olivia Kaye, Ava June and Ella Jeane; his wife Amy Lynne Tekoppel Cody; his father Bill Cody (Sheryl); his sister Jennifer Schuetter (Brian); his parents-in-law, Mike and Trisha Tekoppel; his brothers-in-law, Jason Tekoppel (Amanda) and Alex Tekoppel (Amy); and his nieces and nephews, Hallie Hubert, Holly, Elsie, Isabelle, Oaklyn Tekoppel, Henry and Harvey Tekoppel. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (6202 W St Joseph Rd, Evansville, IN 47720).
