It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Joe Goebel of Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 15, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor A. Goebel and Cecelia M. Goebel (Wirthwein); and his daughter Shannon Goebel. He is survived by: his wife Betty Goebel (Ziliak); his children, Michelle Gerteisen (Keith) of O'Fallon, MO, Angela Effinger (Kevin) of Evansville and Alan Goebel of Nashville, TN; his brother Donald Goebel of Newburgh; and his grandchildren, Kurt, Ryan, Erik Gerteisen, Jenna and Elijah Effinger.
