He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Greenwell and Mary Greenwell (Johnson); his wife Violet Greenwell (Kohlmeyer); his sons, Steven Greenwell and David Greenwell; and his siblings, Dorothy Wargel, Wanda Robertson, Betty Walden, Michael Greenwell and Fred Greenwell.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Schaffer of Evansville, IN, Richard Greenwell (Genia) of Stewartsville, IN and Tony Greenwell of Evansville, IN; his brother David Greenwell of Evansville, IN; his grandsons, Richard, Tony, David and Steven; his daughter Violet; Mike, David and Fred. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
