He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry L. Currie and Margaret Elizabeth Currie (Neall); and his son Eric Knowski. He is survived by: his wife Nancy of Evansville, IN; and his children, Andrea Dressel of Cincinnati, OH, Mary Beth McDermott (Michael) of Lombard, IL, Lisa Currie of Madison, WI, Kurt Knowski (Pat) of West Bend, WI and Scott Currie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
