He was predeceased by: his parents, Linus Niemeier and Mathilda Niemeier (Schenk); his wife Dorothy E. Niemeier; and his brothers, Charlie, Paul and Mike Niemeier.
He is survived by: his children, David (Martha Niemeier) and Anne (Bob Martin); his siblings, Mary Straub, Carol Kissinger, Diane Gardner and Tom Niemeier (Joanie); his grandsons, Michael Niemeier (Erica), Jake Martin (Olivia) and Jack Martin; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Carson, Melody, Serenity Niemeier and Levi Martin.
