He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Spalding and Arnold Spalding; and his sister Arlene Maher. He is survived by: his children, Stacy (Mike), Randy and Rodney Spalding; his brother Dick Spalding (Joan); and his grandchildren, Denver Spalding (Brittney), Demi Overton (Curtis), Sarah Akins (Andy) and Robert Bow (Katey). He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Evansville Wartime Museum.
