Knott of Evansville, Indiana, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gertrude Knott (Short) and Turner Knott; his son William "Billy" Knott; and his siblings, Buddy Knott and Tookie Evelyn Goetz.

He is survived by : his wife Catherine "Ilene" Greer Knott; his daughters, Donna Bitter and Sandy Franklin (Dwight); his grandchildren, Brynn Barnaby (Beau), Amber Jones (Andy), Derek Statz (Rebekah) and Shane Bitter; and his great grandchildren, Briley Ann Nicole Barnaby, Jaxon Dean Knott, Elias Hale Jones and Asher William Statz.
