It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William T. Knott of Evansville, Indiana, born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gertrude Knott (Short) and Turner Knott; his son William "Billy" Knott; and his siblings, Buddy Knott and Tookie Evelyn Goetz.

He is survived by : his wife Catherine "Ilene" Greer Knott; his daughters, Donna Bitter and Sandy Franklin (Dwight); his grandchildren, Brynn Barnaby (Beau), Amber Jones (Andy), Derek Statz (Rebekah) and Shane Bitter; and his great grandchildren, Briley Ann Nicole Barnaby, Jaxon Dean Knott, Elias Hale Jones and Asher William Statz.
