She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavion Hall (Elizabeth Gamble) and Roosevelt Hall Jr.; and her sister Mary Alice Bell. She is survived by: her grandson LaRen Hall; her nephew Kenneth Garth Jr.; her children, Lavion Hall, James Mitchell, Jason Mitchell (Jennifer), Alicia Hall and Vanessa Arvay (Matt); and her siblings, Rev Lionel Gamble (Mildred), Charles Gamble and Geraldine Garth (Kenny). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, a host great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
